Westfall - Beatrice Hendricks

Waynetown - Mrs. Beatrice May Westfall, 89, former Waynetown resident died Tuesday morning at 9'clock at the home of her son, Hendricks Westfall in Indianapolis. She had been ill six weeks and death was attributed to complications resulting from a broken hip. Born Aug 25, 1860 in Morgan County she was the daughter of Silas and Sarah Stout Hendricks. She was married to Columbus Westfall near Waynetown Nov 7, 1880. He preceded her in death Dec 28, 1943. Mrs. Westfall was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Hendricks at whose home she died, a grandson, Paul Westfall of Indianapolis, a granddaughter, Mrs. Beatrice May Kerr of Indianapolis and two great granddaughters, also of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Waynetown Baptist Church, Rev. Harvey S. Burns, pastor will be in charge and burial will be in Waynetown Masonic cemetery.
